Hi friends! I have a brand new show for you this week with brand new segments; you know I can’t ever stick to the same routine for long. With March winding down, I have some great tips to get you prepared for April tax deadlines and I wanted to take a few moments to talk about tracking your mileage. Don’t forget to contact the TruckLogics team to learn how TruckLogics can revolutionize your business management. It’s time to start the show, hit that PLAY button…

Here’s The Rundown
Tracking Your Mileage
There are a lot of different ways to track your mileage and the popular option is to write down, then transfer it into a trip sheet and not worry about it until it is time to report your miles. If you change just one step in that process, you can know the mileage difference from last week to now, the fuel difference, and look at an expense report from the previous month, week or day. Cool, right? All you would have to change is instead of transferring your miles to paper trip sheet or excel file, you can simply enter them into a digital trip sheet in your TruckLogics account – and there’s an app so you can do it on the road. Here is a great blog from TruckLogics that a bit more information – TruckLogics Mileage Tracking: Save Time with One-Click Trip Sheets & Reports.
IFTA Deadline
Your 1st Quarter IFTA deadline is coming up! April is just full of great tax deadlines – said no one ever. To make your life easier, ExpressIFTA provides everything you need to generate your IFTA return. You can even find every state’s IFTA requirements. If you don’t want to deal with the hassle of IFTA filing anymore, give Truck Services of North America a call. They can handle all of your IFTA filing, trip permits, authorities, registrations, and so much more. And they do it all over the phone.
Meal Prepping
How are doing on your healthy eating goals? It’s understandable if you fall off the wagon for a bit, but it’s time to get back on it. A great way to help you stick to your health goals is to prep your meals before you head out on the road. You want to prep meals for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks. It’s really easy and takes the guesswork out of your meals. Meal prepping is also the perfect way to keep your portions in check; a single portion is about the size of your palm. Do leave a meal or two open to enjoy whatever you desire so you don’t get bored of eating prepared meals.
