How-To Tuesday: Adding Drivers and Brokers to Your Address Book
With TruckLogics, you can save all your business contacts to the system for easy access during invoicing, brokering, dispatching, and factoring! It’s easy to enter all the contact information for customers, drivers, brokers, vendors, carriers, staff, shippers, and factoring companies for later use.
Here’s how to add drivers and brokers to your TruckLogics account.
Add a Driver Contact
1. From your Dashboard, click on the Address Book tab.
2. Click on the “+ Add New” button and select Driver from the drop-down menu.
3. You must enter Driver Type and Driver Last Name. However, you can also enter any additional information you would like to. Click “Save & Continue”.
4. Now that your driver is added, you can add additional details about them such as Address, Payment and License Information, Portal Access, Emergency Contact, Documents, Notes, and Social Media.
Add a Broker Contact
1. From your Dashboard, click on the Address Book tab.
2. Click on the “+ Add New” button and select Broker from the drop-down menu.
3. You only need to enter the Broker’s Company Name or Last Name to proceed, but you can enter any other information you would like. When you are finished, click “Save & Continue”.
4. Enter the Broker’s Address Type and Address. Click “Save & Continue”.
5. Enter the name of the agent you will be working with and their phone number. Click “Save & Continue”.
6. Add any other information you would like to add about the Broker’s online presence. Click “Save & Continue”.
