How-to Tuesday: Creating Self Settlements For Owner Operators
If you’re an independent owner-operator, you may run into a situation where you need to create a settlement for yourself within TruckLogics.
Thankfully, this process is simple and can be easily incorporated into your existing dispatching process. Here’s how you can create self settlements with our owner-operator trucking software.
Creating Self Settlements As An Owner-Operator
1. Create the load/dispatch for yourself

2. Assign yourself as the driver and your truck as the vehicle
We have covered this step in detail in one of our other how-to blogs. Click here for this process.
3. Mark yourself as the owner of the company
When you add yourself as a driver, make sure you check the box that says “I am Owner of this Company.”
4. Mark the dispatch as delivered
Go to the dispatch and click on “Mark as Delivered.”
5. Invoice your customer
Go to the Invoice tab of the appropriate load. Click “Generate Invoice.”
