How-To Tuesday: Receiving an Income Advance

TruckLogics offers plenty of useful features to help make the operations of any trucking business run smoothly. One of these features includes the ability to receive an income advance on a load or dispatch. This is especially important because it is used for receiving income from a business and notating it as an advance. In the steps below you will learn how to receive an income advance within your TruckLogics account.

1. From anywhere in your TruckLogics account, click on the “Dispatches” tab.

2. Select “All Dispatches” from the sidebar. 

3. Select the quick dispatch you want to add an advance to.

4. Under “Dispatch Details” select “Receive Advance”.

5. Enter the advance amount, the date of payment, check number if applicable, and then click “Save”.

6. If you want to add the advance on a load instead, click on the “Loads” tab.

7. Select “All Loads” from the sidebar. 

8. Select a load that is not a Quick Dispatch.

9. Under the “Load Summary” tab, scroll down to see “Load Advances” and select “Receive Advance”. Here you will repeat the process from step 5 and click Save.

By following these steps in your TruckLogics account, you are able to successfully receive income advances on loads and dispatches.
